You are on the honor
system to complete this test without assistance or reference materials.
Remember that if you obtain help or look at reference materials during the
test, it will not be a true assessment of your readiness for the official
NCLEX test.
Before you take the test, you should download the Authorware web player from Macromedia. The specific player you select depending on whether you use Internet Explorer or Netscape, and whether you have Windows or a Macintosh. Please download the correct player version for Authorware 6.5 content from the Macromedia Download center. Most Internet Explorer users should choose "Authorware Web Player 7.0, Complete". Netscape users should choose the Netscape version of "Authorware Web Player 6.5 Complete". If you see a security popup window, either while downloading the player or when starting the test, you must choose to trust the content in order to receive the download. When you start the test, you must supply a valid User ID and password. If you do not have one, please contact the All About Staffing International Recruiting department at 954-514-1545. Please note that your password expires 24 hours after you begin the test. You will be presented with a series of multiple choice questions. Select the one best answer and enter the corresponding letter on the keyboard. The letter you selected displays on the screen. If this is your final answer, confirm by click Yes. Otherwise click No and change your answer. You will have three hours to answer 172 questions. A reminder will display on the screen showing how much time you have left and how many questions remain. At the end of the test your score will display, showing the total number correct. A passing score is 138 correct answers, or 80%. If at any time during the test you are disconnected, you may return to the test by logging back in with your user name and password. The test will resume with the remaining time and remaining questions. You may log in as many times as are required, within the 3 hour testing time limit and the 24 hour password expiration limit. Restarting the test will not give a second chance to answer any question, since the test "remembers" whether you have previously seen a question. |
